Personal responsibility; You won't find those words in Obama's dictionary

Another notable occurrence at the Americas Summit:

When confronted by an America-bashing 50 minute rant by Daniel Ortega (yes, the former Sandinista), Obama said, as a retort: “I am very grateful that President Ortega didn’t blame me for things that happened when I was three months old.” This is the schoolyard equivalent of "don't look at me, he did it!". It is also, unfortunately, a disturbing personal trait of our new president in which he refuses to accept any degree of responsibility (this topic is covered succinctly at Legal Insurrection). It also illustrates, yet again, how willing he is to throw anyone under the bus in order to shield himself from criticism (we know about his "racist" white grandmother), even the people of his very own country who chose him to lead. Last, it shows the true depths of his narcissism; he truly believes that everything is about him.

  1. This is the very same reason it took the Navy 5 days to kill the pirates. He took that long to change the rules of engagement because be wanted to make sure his ass was covered by legal documentation.
