As for obligatory service, I think the point is that the younger generation is completely soft and takes eveything we have for granted. The country as a whole is too soft and too comfortable with their overall standard of living. But if things get much worse and the dems keep changing our country towards a socialist ideology, there will be a breaking point with average Americans. Even I have contemplated getting more actively involved...
