Not that it was a conflict of interest or anything (he only got $240K in campaign donations from AIG), but Christopher Dodd finally admits that he added the 'loophole' in to the original AIG bailout bill that would allow AIG executives to receive their bonuses.

Get rid of these corrupt bums! And I'm not talking about AIG.

This is EXACTLY the kind of graft to be expected when the government controls money; give them MORE money to control and you are guaranteed to see more graft, since it the only way they know how to do business. This is what baffles me about the left, since they think that big government will be more efficient than smaller, private enterprises; Well, on second thought, I am not too baffled since all of their solutions to the countries problems are based on a complete denial of human nature (e.g., if you increase welfare, that there won't be a significant population that is completely content living in filth, rather than trying to advance themselves).
ReplyDeleteSo whats wrong with Barney(Hot Pants)Frank?
